Gravity Feed Shelves.

The Problem.

Best practice for restocking shelves is the FIFO method. That is, the first stock in should always be the first stock out. When shoppers continually shop popular items, they become less visible as less popular SKUs either side hide them from clear view.

…Our objective was to create a display that could maximum visibility of all SKUs at any time.

The Solution.

A tower that has gravity feeding shelves that automatically move products to the front of the shelf. This not only maintains clear visibility of all stock, but also helps the shelves to look well stocked, neat, and organised at all times.

Technical Detail.

  • FlexiEco tower with gravity feeding shelves has great shelf weight capacity that automatically pushes stock to the front of the shelf.

  • Large graphic panels on side and rear are great for advertising.

  • Rear graphic panel can be removed for easy re-stocking ensuring that the first stock in is always sold first.

  • Gravity feeding inserts are also suitable for standard shelving and simply install directly on top of the shelf.

  • When items are removed, the gravity feeding shelf ( which has a slight angle) allows the product behind to roll gently to the front of the shelf.

  • Shelves ensure that stock is always pushed to the front of the shelf to maximise visibility.

  • Dividers keep stock neatly organised. Each shelf can hold approximately 36 standard wine bottles.

  • Modular gravity feeder has movable dividers and can be stacked side-by-side on shelving to any desired width and are also suitable for fridge applications.
