Sustainable modular display.
The Problem.
The life cycle of a temporary retail tower on average is approximately 4-8 weeks. Most temporary towers use around 3.7kg of corrugated cardboard per tower, this means tons of corrugated cardboard is being dumped into recycle bins every month.
…Our objective was to create a display that could reduce the amount of cardboard waste associated with temporary display towers.
The Solution.
Our solution was a tower that is made from durable, recyclable materials that minimises the disposable carboard required to display and dress up product in stores. With the added benefit of flexible height shelves, the tower can be used, reused, adjusted and at the end of it’s life.. recycled.
In comparison to a standard corrugated tower (without bars using paper clips) that weighs approximately 3.7kg, the FlexiEco dress-up kit in total weighs only about 1.2kg. This is a reduction in corrugated waste of around 68% per tower that also translates to a huge reduction in greenhouse gasses associated with freight.
