From humble beginnings in a single store in Chapel Street, Prahran, Melbourne in 1952, Dan Murphy’s Liquor has grown into a Liquor Merchant empire in Australia. It was Dan Murphy’s innovative business strategy that allowed him to create such an empire in the Australian liquor market, and it is the ability to continue to embrace these ideals of innovation which will continue to cement Dan Murphy’s place within liquor market.

Sustainability has become one of the biggest considerations in the retail space leading to many businesses (including Dan Murphy’s) being bound to sustainable energy, waste reduction and recyclability target commitments. This means there has been a large push towards utalising more digital marketing and advertising and moving away from large volumes of disposable marketing materials.
Digital ticketing is commonplace in many retail spaces now, and we are seeing more large format advertising shifting towards digital. They key to retail marketing success currently exists in finding solutions that will effectively enhance and encourage consumer engagement with brands while still minimises impacts on sustainability targets.
